Agreement to these terms
By accessing the RMUR website, requesting a trial or using an RMUR service, you agree to these terms and the RMUR Privacy Policy. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
Service availability
RMUR is an evolving cybersecurity platform. Website descriptions may include features that are being prepared, tested or released in stages. Trial access, account access and specific monitoring capabilities are available only after RMUR confirms them for your organization.
RMUR may improve, replace, limit or discontinue a feature when required for security, reliability, legal compliance or product development.
Authorized use
You may use RMUR only for lawful business purposes and only for organizations, domains, systems and information you own or are authorized to assess. You must not use RMUR to access another party's systems without permission, interfere with services, distribute malicious software, evade security controls or violate applicable law.
Account responsibilities
When account access becomes available, you are responsible for accurate registration information, authorized users, strong authentication, secure credentials and prompt notice of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by RMUR's failure to apply reasonable safeguards.
Monitoring scope
RMUR provides visibility, alerts, recommendations and reporting based on the information and monitoring scope available to the platform. RMUR does not guarantee that every vulnerability, exposure, breach, threat or future security event will be detected.
RMUR guidance supports business decisions but does not replace legal advice, insurance advice, regulatory advice or the judgment of qualified security professionals where specialized review is required.
Trials, subscriptions and billing
A trial does not create a paid subscription unless the organization accepts a separate offer, order form or subscription agreement. Paid plans, fees, renewal terms, usage limits, cancellation rights and taxes will be disclosed before a paid service begins.
Customer information
You retain ownership of information your organization provides to RMUR. You authorize RMUR to process that information only as required to deliver, secure, support and improve the requested service and meet legal obligations.
RMUR intellectual property
RMUR and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, website, software, designs, reports, processes, trademarks and related materials, excluding customer information. These terms do not transfer ownership or grant permission to copy, resell, reverse engineer or create a competing service from RMUR materials.
Third party services
RMUR may connect with hosting, billing, cloud, monitoring, identity or other third party services. Those services may be governed by their own terms. RMUR is not responsible for an interruption or change caused solely by a third party outside RMUR's reasonable control.
Disclaimers and responsibility
RMUR works to provide reliable security visibility but cybersecurity risk cannot be eliminated. Services are provided subject to the terms of the applicable plan or agreement. To the extent permitted by law, RMUR is not responsible for indirect, special or consequential loss arising from use of the website or reliance on general website information.
Suspension and termination
RMUR may suspend access when reasonably required to protect the platform, customers or public systems, investigate misuse, comply with law or address unpaid fees under a paid agreement. Either party may end a trial before a paid agreement begins.
Changes and governing law
RMUR may update these terms as the platform changes. The effective date will be posted on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules.
